Microsoft is always looking for ways to make life simpler for your business, and Windows 11 is no exception.

If you frequently switch between working on your phone and PC, you’ll be excited about the new “Hand Off” feature currently in testing.

Here’s how it works: imagine you’re in a meeting or on the go, working on a document in Microsoft Word or another app on your phone. When you return to your PC, a notification will prompt you to pick up where you left off – making it easy to switch seamlessly between devices.

This feature relies on OneDrive’s syncing capabilities, meaning it’s already compatible with Android devices, and may soon support iPhones too, though that’s yet to be confirmed.

This kind of flexibility – moving between devices without losing progress – could be especially valuable for remote teams.

While “Hand Off” isn’t available just yet, its potential to streamline business workflows is clear.
