We are looking for a skilled L1 Service Desk Technician to provide technical support and professional service to our client base. 

The role will be based in Durban.

As an L1 Service Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our new and existing clients. The L1 Service Desk Technician will be customer focused and motivated by team success. Will need to be innovative, energetic, and able to adapt to new processes and procedures quickly while dealing with a high volume of requests. The technician will also need to be committed, flexible, and have demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of productivity while maintaining quality support.

The L1 Service Desk Technician is a customer-facing role with the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Daily Support Desk Function
  • Track and co-ordinate all IT service requests
  • Follow-up and track incidents and control to ensure that incidents are resolved timeously
  • General IT administration
  • Microsoft 365 Support
  • Workstation Support
  • Server Support
  • 3CX Support
  • Networking
  • Mimecast
  • Daily Tickets
  • Backup systems
